Because I am currently focusing on the release of my new Kindle book, A Christmas Carol II: The Rise of the Juggernauts, I will not be enlightening my millions of faithful readers with a regular blog post this week.
Instead, I would like to give a short explanation of how I came up with the idea for my internationally-acclaimed, soon-to-be-best-selling sequel to Charles Dickens’ classic work.
My family has long loved the story of A Christmas Carol. We tend to watch multiple versions of it all throughout the year, and my dad has a tradition of reading it aloud around Christmas time for all those who happen to be around.
A couple of years back, as I was sitting with the rest of the family watching yet another rendition (I believe it was the one with George C. Scott as Ebenezer Scrooge), I had an epiphany: What if Tiny Tim grew up to be a ninja crime fighter?
This basic storyline evolved in my head over the following months, gradually taking the shape it has today. The secret Order of the Hammer and the Juggernauts were early ideas, while other prominent characters and organizations came a bit later.
Altogether, the writing of this story has been a great experience for me, and it’s something I would definitely like to undertake again in the future.
Until then, I would encourage all of my readers to jump onto Amazon and download A Christmas Carol II: The Rise of the Juggernauts.
